Teething jewellery business packages up for success

A Scottish teething jewellery company is aiming for success with distributors and retailers at the largest nursery trade show in the UK after launching a new range of packaging for their product range.

Num Num Teething Jewellery, based in Edinburgh, has designed their distinctive packaging to make their products more suitable for sale in retail outlets and through distributors across the UK and further afield.  They will be showcasing the new design at the International Nursery Fair taking place in Harrogate from 20 to 22 March.

Since being established just over a year ago, Num Num’s has established a reputation for unique jewellery designs using squeezable, food-grade silicone beads that are beautiful and fun for mums to wear.  Having already had success with their online offering, as well as being stocked in shops from Manchester to Ullapool, the company believes the new packaging will broaden their attraction to more retail outlets.

With their striking pink, green logo on a navy blue background, the modern design will appeal to young mums and stand out on shop shelves.  The packaging also contains information about the materials products are made from, as well as detailed safety and care instructions which are so important for products used with babies.

Commenting on the new packaging, Jennifer Downie, owner of Num Num Teething Jewellery said: “It’s been a great year since I launched Num Num after I couldn’t find a stylish teething necklace to wear when my daughter started teething and I had to stop wearing my pre-baby jewellery as it was either unsafe or could get broken.”

“Launching our retail packaging is the next stage in the business’ development and will make it easier and more attractive for a broader range of retail outlets to stock our products.  We have taken our time getting the look and feel of the packaging just right so that it showcases the jewellery properly and I am sure it will really catch the eyes of consumers.”
